New Offer of Monographic Courses for the 2024-2025 Academic Year at EAD Tarragona
The School of Art and Design of the Tarragona Provincial Council has approved the offer of monographic courses for the 2024-2025 academic year. This initiative is part of the goal to contribute to community well-being by offering artistic and cultural education throughout life. The planned monographic courses are:
- Preparatory Course for Access to Higher Education Courses in Fine Arts and Design: This course is designed to prepare for the exams to access Higher Education Courses in Fine Arts and Design, with a weekly dedication of 16 hours.
- Printmaking:
- Level 1: Introduction to Printmaking: Course for those who want to start with the creative process of printmaking, with a weekly dedication of 5 hours.
- Level 2: Advanced Printmaking: For those who already have basic knowledge and wish to deepen their skills in printmaking techniques. Weekly dedication: 4 hours.
- Ceramics:
- Level 1: Introduction to Ceramics: Introductory course to the knowledge and learning of ceramics, with a weekly dedication of 6 hours.
- Level 2: Advanced Ceramics: For those who already have a base in ceramics and want to expand their knowledge. Weekly dedication: 6 hours.
- Artistic Drawing: Course aimed at individuals who wish to acquire the skills necessary to master artistic expression through drawing. Weekly dedication is 6 hours.
The total number of places for the monographic courses is as follows:
- Preparatory Course for Access: 15 places
- Introduction to Printmaking: 15 places
- Advanced Printmaking: 15 places
- Introduction to Ceramics: 15 places
- Advanced Ceramics: 15 places
- Artistic Drawing: 30 places (divided into two groups of 15 places each)
The pre-registration, enrollment, and publication schedule for the admission and waiting lists is as follows:
- Pre-registration: From July 3rd to 10th, 2024
- Publication of the Admission List: July 17th, 2024
- Enrollment: From July 24th to 30th, 2024 for the preparatory course, and from September 9th to 13th, 2024 for the other courses.
Admission criteria will prioritize new students and the evaluation of the personal portfolio will be considered for advanced courses. In case of a tie, the alphabetical order of the first surname will be used, starting with the letter "V".
