Objectives and Basic Information
Through the knowledge of tools and materials, and the expressive value of various printmaking and stamping techniques, students will explore their plastic solutions and applications. Technical learning and observational skills enable the production of a print run and precise stamping. The course provides an introduction to contemporary printmaking and the study of its relationship with painting and other converging plastic fields. This monographic course facilitates the development of all basic printmaking concepts: line, stain, drawing, space, composition, image inversion, negative and positive... as well as knowledge about bookbinding.
