Educational Structure

Our Higher Education Courses are structured in two academic years and include internships in companies outside of class hours. This methodology ensures practical and applied training, facilitating the students' entry into the job market.

The objectives of the higher vocational training cycles include:

  1. Providing high-quality technical and artistic training that allows students to develop their creative skills.
  2. Facilitating the acquisition of professional competencies that meet labor market needs.
  3. Promoting the labor market integration of students through internships in sector companies.
  4. Encouraging innovation and entrepreneurship in different artistic and design fields.

The cycles in plastic arts and design offer professional training in the fields of artistic trades, plastic arts, crafts, and design, preparing students for entry into the labor market in a specific profession.

They are organized into various professional families with a duration of two academic years, totaling between 1,800 and 2,000 hours. Part of these hours is dedicated to training in an educational center and another part to practical training in companies, studios, or workshops.

The aim of this training is to provide quality education that guarantees the acquisition of competencies for future professionals in the design and crafts sector as qualified workers: as a technician from the medium-level vocational training cycles or as a higher technician from the higher vocational training cycles.

Both technological advances and traditional techniques are covered, while creativity and knowledge of artistic heritage are developed, allowing professional activity to be carried out with respect for the environment and cultural heritage.

Higher vocational training cycles in plastic arts and design are part of the European Higher Education Area Level 1 Framework, are official and recognized within the European Higher Education Area (EHEA).
