EADTarragona at the La Comella Llum Festival, taking place from March 7 to 9 in Tarragona

The Espai Comella Escultura Natura, created by artist Rufino Mesa, has been the main venue for the artistic event Comella Llum. This initiative has brought together various light installations and artistic works created by young Arts and Design students.

In this edition, students from the Escola Superior de Disseny i d’Arts Plàstiques de la Llotja and second-year students from the CFGS d'Arts al Mur (Painting) program at EADTarragona have participated. Additionally, ERASMUS students from the Technische Hochschule Rosenheim in Munich and NABA, Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti in Milan, have also taken part. The children from El Niu de la Comella contributed their creativity with a more modest participation.

The CEN (Espai Comella, Escultura i Natura) is an open-air sculpture park in Tarragona, promoted by Rufino Mesa. This space not only hosts sculptures but also offers exhibitions of photography, engraving, and drawing, as well as conferences and book presentations.

Located just three kilometers from Tarragona, within the municipal area and near the Sant Pere i Sant Pau neighborhood, the CEN is surrounded by the pine forests of the Loreto sanctuary. It is easily accessible via the Pont d’Armentera road, before reaching the AP7 highway.
