Two CFGS Jewelery students participate in 'Fluir', the first Contemporary Jewelery Exhibition in Terres de l'Ebre
EADTarragona present at the First Contemporary Jewelery Show in Terres de l'Ebre organized by JORGC (Official Association of Jewellers, Goldsmiths, Watchmakers and Gemmologists of Catalonia).
Jordi Brull Martí is part of the collective professional exhibition at the Celòquia del Castell d'Amposta. And Anna Mateu, exhibits her work in the student section, in the jewelery shops of Amposta. She has been selected from among students from all the Jewelery schools in Catalonia, such as Arsenal, Faber, JORGC, Llotja, Massana and Sara Castells.
Jordi Brull's piece is a brooch that is part of the Rostolls collection, which he presented as an end-of-cycle work. The material is brass, silver, 24k gold, and enamels.
It is a part of the process and research to express his feelings of love towards his land, the Ebro Delta. The collection as a whole are pieces made with pit technique, "fossilizing" or "making eternal" in some way, plant remains, such as the bark of an olive tree. And together with the fact of preserving this vegetal nature, it was necessary to include the element that gives life and meaning to nature: water.
Professor Eugènia Arnavat is also part of the collective exhibition as a professional.
You will be able to see his works from September 28 to October 13 in Amposta.
