EADTarragona participates to The Arts Day

The "Jornada de les Arts" is an event organized by the Departament d’Educació i Formació Professional in collaboration with the Ajuntament de Tarragona i la Diputació de Tarragona. It is aimed at 4th-year ESO and 1st-year Baccalaureate students, so they can learn about the broad and accessible artistic educational offerings by participating in workshops related to music, visual arts, dance, and performing arts. This way, they can experience these disciplines firsthand.

This is the first edition of this initiative in Tarragona, which has also been organized in Lleida and Sabadell and and aims to showcase the potential of artistic education schools in the city of Tarragona.

To promote and showcase everything that is being done in the city in the field of arts, student participation has been encouraged in artistic activities (concerts, theater, and workshops in public spaces) to highlight the wide range of opportunities available in the city's educational centers.

In addition to EADTarragona, participants include the Escola i Conservatori de Música de la Diputació de Tarragona, the CFGS Tècniques d’actuació teatral de l'Institut Antoni de Martí i Franquès, the Escola Municipal de Música de Tarragona, the Estudi de música and Scènic Dansa.

Mid-morning, 1st-year students from the Higher Vocational Training Program in Jewelry and Applied Arts at the Wall from EADTarragona will participate in two workshops for 4th-year ESO and 1st-year Baccalaureate students at the Tarragona Institute. The location had to be changed at the last minute due to rain, as the workshops were initially planned for Rambla Nova. One will be the Singular Portraits Workshop, and the other will be the Transparent Portraits Workshop.
