EADT strengthens its Erasmus+ collaboration with the Accademia di Belle Arti di Ravenna
From March 24th to 31st, 2025, the Escola d'Art i Disseny de la Diputació a Tarragona (EADT) welcomed Francesco Romano, a member of the Erasmus team from the Accademia di Belle Arti di Ravenna (Italy), as part of a job shadowing stay funded by the Erasmus+ program.
This initiative aimed primarily at exchanging best practices in managing international mobility for students and faculty, as well as strengthening the ties between both institutions, which have maintained active collaboration for several years.
During his stay, Romano had the opportunity to gain first-hand insight into the workings of the EADT, participating in meetings with the management and Erasmus coordination teams, and visiting various classrooms and workshops to observe the teaching development in different specialties. He showed particular interest in the methodology and facilities of the higher education cycles in Interactive Graphics, Animation, and Painting, highlighting the quality of the projects carried out by the students.
One of the most significant moments of the visit was the informative talk he gave on Monday, March 25th at 11 a.m., aimed at students interested in undertaking Erasmus mobility to Ravenna. In this session, Romano presented the Accademia's educational offerings, its spaces and workshops, and provided practical information about the city, the reception of foreign students, and the cultural life of the region. The activity generated great interest among the students, especially those in the process of applying for mobility for the upcoming academic year.
This visit represented an excellent opportunity to reinforce the European dimension of the EADT, share visions on higher artistic education, and consider possible joint projects for the future to continuing to strengthen collaboration with the Accademia di Belle Arti di Ravenna for the benefit of our educational community.
