Jornada Derives
The Diputació de Tarragona is launching an interdisciplinary artistic project aimed at fostering reflection on depopulation and identity. Titled “Pobles mudats,” this initiative will take place in the coming months as part of the new Network of Cultural Spaces of the Diputació, spanning locations in Tarragona, Reus, Tortosa, and Valls.
A total of eight venues will host programming for this project from November 7 to February 15, marking the inaugural offering of the new Network of Cultural Spaces.
The program features four major proposals: “Els pobles acampen a l’Escola,” which will take place at the Tortosa and Valls campuses of the School of Art and Culture; the event “Derives” at the School of Art and Design in Tarragona; the series “Art as an Experience to Love the Territory” at the Modern Art Museum of the Diputació; and a series of activities, including an ephemeral artistic action surrounding the “Fàbrica de la Transició” in Catllar.
