A theme that defines the work of Albert Macaya (Reus, 1961) is the search for identity in the modern world. The author works extensively on the idea of constructing knowledge and identity.

The recent installations produced by Ester Ferrando (Reus, 1972) encourage the viewer, in an exercise of introspection, to reflect upon certain aspects of everyday life.

The artistic career of Antonio Alcàsser (Tírig, 1963) started in the world of engraving, before evolving towards painting, with the use of new technologies through which he creates his own language in order to communicate with the viewer.

The painting of Kribi Heral (Biar, Alicante, 1967) maintains a difficult balance between order and chaos, freedom and control and, at the same time, reveals a tragicomic line that does not diminish the degree of spontaneity of his works.

The work of Joaquim Chancho (Riudoms, 1943) is contained within certain coordinates within which he has operated freely: abstraction, geometry, action within painting, sequencing and reiterative, yet open processes. In the majority of series he has opted to limit the colours to black and white, while adding red or earth tones in others.
